Who We Are

At CASWA, we believe in the power of communities. As a grassroots NGO based in Pakistan, CASWA works tirelessly to promote social justice, equality, and sustainability through inclusive initiatives in education, health, gender equality, environmental protection, and community development. Guided by the United Nations (SDGs) — including Good Health , Quality Education,
Gender Equality , Clean Water , Clean Energy , Decent Work , Reduced Inequality (SDG 10), Responsible Consumption , Climate Action , Life Below Water , Life on Land, Peace & Justice , and Global Partnerships-we strive to uplift marginalized populations and help them shape a brighter, more resilient future.
  • To break the cycle of poverty by providing underprivileged communities with access to quality education, employment opportunities, and sustainable solutions for environmental well-being.
  • Our programs are tailored to meet the most pressing local needs while empowering individuals with skills, knowledge, and support for long-term transformation.

Emergency Rain & Flood Response 2022

In response to devastating floods in Jacobabad, CASWA provided critical support—food rations, temporary shelter, hygiene kits, and medical assistance—to over 1,200 vulnerable families. This effort directly contributed to SDG 3 (Good Health), SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), and SDG 13 (Climate Action).

Empowering Educators: ELT Professional Development

Partnering with EVOLUTION and RELO (U.S. Embassy), CASWA trained over 300 English language teachers across Sindh. Through workshops and webinars, educators improved classroom practices, aligning with SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).

EmpowerHer: Digital Literacy Initiative for Women

With support from Orange Tree Foundation, CASWA trained women in digital marketing, freelancing, and financial independence. Over 100 women gained skills for remote work and entrepreneurship—supporting SDG 5 (Gender Equality) and SDG 8 (Decent Work).

Election Reforms & Governance Monitoring

Under FAFEN and in collaboration with CDF Sindh, CASWA promotes electoral transparency and citizen engagement. This ongoing work supports SDG 16 (Peace, Justice & Strong Institutions) by advocating inclusive governance and informed civic participation.

Beat the Heat: Heatwave Awareness Campaign

In the face of climate emergencies, CASWA launched awareness drives in high-risk communities using social media, workshops, and public messaging. This program aligns with SDG 13 (Climate Action) and SDG 3 (Health & Well-being).
